Joyce, 32, spent this past season with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He hit .242/.403/.463 with 13 homers, 10 doubles and a triple in 293 plate appearances.

The Minnesota Twins have agreed to a three-year, $24.5 million deal with Jason Castro.

Castro, 29, has spent his entire Major League career with the Houston Astros.

With a thin market at catcher, Castro drew interest from several clubs.

The Cardinals have reached an agreement with former Cecil, 30, went 1-7 with a 3.93 ERA in 54 games with Toronto last seasonBlue Jays reliever Brett Cecil on a four-year deal worth $30.5 million, a source confirmed to ESPN's Jim Bowden.

The Texas Rangers have agreed to a one-year, $10 million deal with Andrew Cashner, according to a report.

Cashner, 30, went 5-11 last season with the San Diego Padres and Miami Marlins with a 5.25 ERA over 27 starts and one relief appearance.

The Houston Astros have agreed to a two-year deal with Charlie Morton.

Morton made just four starts last season before suffering a torn left hamstring that ended his year.

He will receive $14 million guaranteed, and he can also earn an additional $2.5 million each season in incentives based on starts, according to a source.

According to multiple reports, Jeremy Hellickson has accepted the one-year, $17.2 million qualifying offer from the Philadelphia Phillies.

Hellickson was one of 10 players to receive qualifying offers from their teams.

The 29-year-old was 12-10 with a 3.71 ERA last season. He tied career highs with 32 starts and 189 innings pitched and struck out a career-best 154 batters.

Philadelphia acquired Hellickson in a 2015 trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Chris Heisey has agreed to a $1.4 million, one-year deal to return to the Nationals.

Agent Paul Cobbe confirmed the deal in an email to The Associated Press on Sunday.

Heisey hit nine home runs in spot and pinch-hitting duties during the 2016 regular season. The 31-year-old hit a pinch-hit, two-run home run in Game 5 of the NLDS against the Dodgers.

The Toronto Blue Jays have agreed to a seven-year, $22 million deal with Cuban defector Lourdes Gurriel, Jr., according to reports.

Gurriel, 23, defected along with his older brother, Yulieski Gurriel, during the Caribbean Series in the Dominican Republic in February.

Yulieski Gurriel signed a five-year, $48 million deal with the Houston Astros in July.

The Toronto Blue Jays have agreed to sign Kendrys Morales to a three-year, $33 million contract, according to multiple reports.

Morales, 33, declined a mutual option with the Kansas City Royals to hit the open market.

He hit .263 with 30 home runs and 93 RBIs as Kansas City's designated hitter this season.

The Atlanta Braves have signed Bartolo Colon to a one-year contract.

Colon, 43, will make $12.5 million next season, according to sources.

The right-hander has a career 232-162 record over 19 Major League seasons. Colon went 15-8 with a 3.43 ERA with the New York Mets this past season.
